I will keep this bit short and sweet, I looked through patternform and there seemed to be a lot of other good horses in the race and then the timeform comments made it seem like this horse wasn't going to cause too much concern so I placed a lay just before the off to go in play and profited.

The feedback this morning one of the members was new to trading and wanted to see how to use the stats so I knocked up a quick video showing you a live in play betfair trade and how I used the stats software to do it - there was a couple of games on at the time as well and I went on the stats software and then headed over to betfair to get some more football trading done. 

Thats the best thing about this betfair trading football software is that it is current and you can also save your filters so you can easily find this types of trades! 

I recently posted to the members about what blog posts that they would like to see and got some really good topics a few of them were more in-depth for a blog post and they might have to become little video mini series but this was one that I can turn into a blog post quite nicely: "How to trade around your lifestyle".

Hi everybody reading this, it's Ryan one of the Betfair professional traders on betfairtradingcommunity.com. I was away last week on a holiday and while away it got my thinking about motivation for trading etc… so I thought I would write a blog post on things that motivate me to continue trading after 8 years of pro trading.

I always want people to get better at trading, I think it’s the driven, sociable person in me, when I meet people I love to chat to them and get into what they are doing. When it comes to what I am doing I am trying to explain to them Weight Of Money and tennis trading, how I use stats to help me with my Football trading so I decided to write a blog post, nice and simple – 3 tips to improve your trading today, this will work for any sport!

1. Watch the markets

Greed can be defined as ‘Intense or selfish desire for something, wealth, food or power.’ So greed is an emotion? Correct, trading is an emotional game; well actually trading is an emotional war with oneself. So you need to be able to detach yourself from your emotions when trading otherwise the dreaded greed will get you and you shall be on a fast ticket to blowing that bank.
