Steve Howe Legendary Betfair Trader

I have been very fortunate in my life to be surrounded by some really great people, Steve Howe is no exception to that rule. I have known Steve for s good few years now and we meet up every so often and geek out about the betfair exchange, trading and basically life.

Then I decided when driving back after one of our coffee meet ups that we should record a podcast, where I can get deep with Steve and you guys can have a snippet of the conversations that we have ourselves. For those of you who have no idea who Steve Howe is, then check out his It's A Mug's Blog.

Steve is one of the most humble men I have had the pleasure of spending some time with, when you meet him you instantly get a feeling of this guys a smart guy but also a very very nice bloke, who loves a laugh and cares deeply about the people around him - not just for his trading results but for this is why I think he is a legend.

The Steve Howe Podcast in full is here: Steve Howe Podcast

Because Steve was such a legend and there was so much good content on the world of Betfair I decided to record a video on my top 8 takeaways from the podcast, I would be very interested to hear your takeaways.

8 Takeaways from the podcast.

Here are 8 different takeaways that I got from the podcast with Steve Howe the legendary Betfair trader from It's A Mugs Blog.

  1. Record your trades
  2. Apply lateral thinking
  3. The trades plot the graph
  4. Rules - STICK TO THEM
  5. Quality of work depends on your tools
  6. Betfair pictures are perfectly adequate
  7. Even by not trading you will learn by watching
  8. Mentality

Pretty interesting huh? Very interesting for me as well that Steve is a huge advocate of the rules, I am also a huge advocate of rules and having a trading plan, one of our most popular blog posts on this is where I talk about having a trading plan - you can check that out here.
